We've booked Nate for over 10 stays. Nate was a good pet sitter until the most recent stay. We've consistently booked him for house sitting, including staying the night which we are confident he doesn't do. However, we didn't mind that as long as our dog was receiving good care. The most recent stay, we came home to vomit and feces (about 2-3 days worth) throughout the house. Some of the feces were diarrhea and some had been there long enough to have dried and crusted. When we reached out to Nate, he did not respond. We contacted him twice through the Rover app. We ended up opening a Trust & Safety case. What concerns me most is not only that our dog was sick and not cared for, but when we informed Nate that there was feces, diarrhea, and vomit, he did not respond. It makes me question how much he actually cares about the well-being of the pets he watches. For drop-in visits or dog walking, Nate is ideal. However, I cannot recommend him if you are going away for 1+ nights. When something went wrong, he did not communicate nor respond when we calmly expressed our concerns. (Please note: he had both of our phone numbers and our vets contact information.)

Super chill, easy to meet and chat with. Doggos loved him. 10/10
