Hi! My name is Nate, I am 23 years old, a recent college grad, and dancer in New York City. Growing up, I took care of my yellow lab Buckley from when he was a puppy. I was devastated when I had to leave for college, but fortunately I had many opportunities to meet other dogs to house sit and walk in NYC. I am high energy, down for long walks and adventures, or just the joy of sitting together and relaxing. My availability is 6:00am to 4:15 pm Monday through Thursday, free all day Friday, 6:00am to 7:00pm on Saturday, and 6:00am to 1:00 on Sunday (I dance professionally at an off broadway production during my nights). I can't wait to get to know you and your dog!

Nate is one of the most reliable humans I know. He’s been my dog sitter/walker for forever. My Aussie girl loves him and instantly bonded with him. His positive energy calms her and she’s always konked out from their playtime when I get back. Nate is kind-hearted, extremely professional, and a super fun caretaker. He cares so much for animals and humans alike, and I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly for Rover.
Nate first cared for Sammy for me about 3 months ago, and Sammy still gets incredibly excited whenever he sees him now! Nate was very punctual and wonderful with Sammy’s needs as he is still very young and can be a bit of a beast on the leash. I highly recommend him both for his love of dogs and his natural ability to understand their needs.

No breed preference! I accept all dogs as they are. I would like to know the following things: Are they good with other dogs (in case of dog parks)? Are they aggressive in certain situations? Any dietary restriction on food or treats? Are the good with children (in case child asks to pet)? Any favorite bathroom spots?
A typical day
My favorite place to walk, especially since it is getting nicer outside, are any of the riverwalks that NYC has to offer. Other places that I have walked are Central Park, Prospect Park, and Washington Square Park, among many more. In the past, I have walked dogs that were good off leash. We have enjoyed many games of fetch, tossing a frisbee or tennis ball, and running around the park. I have no problem tiring out your dog! I always have some water and some treats if they get tired. If there isn't a park nearby, a walk around the block can be just as good.
