Pet care experience
I volunteer with rescue dogs - walking them, spending time with them, feeding them. Some dogs are anxious, shy or have other issues - I focus on figuring out what each dog needs and providing it, to ensure the dog feels comfortable and safe with me. I happily offer patience, compassion and reassurance to any dog. I prioritize the dog's safety but also their comfort and happiness. Nothing is more rewarding than making a positive difference in a dog's life, even just for the duration of a walk or a cuddle session which improves their day. I see each dog as an individual with their own personality, quirks, needs and preferences, and I will always strive to take this into account rather than assuming the same approach will work with every dog.

I am Natasha's mother and can testify that her love of animals - and dogs in particular - goes back as far as I can remember. She is an exceptionally compassionate person with genuine empathy for animals and the ability to calm and comfort them when they are nervous or distressed. She is also highly responsible, sensible and intelligent in meeting her commitments. Although she can be a little shy in social situations, she is warm and friendly as well, especially in one-to-one or small group settings. She has been volunteering at a dog-rescue center and doesn't just care for the dogs competently, but she also communicates with them through talk and cuddles.
I am Natasha's father and I regard her as totally honest and trustworthy. She has a good mind and will think carefully about what the Rover organisation wants from her, and do her best to follow your best advice and instructions. However, should anything unexpected occur while on the job (for example, while walking the dogs) she will use her common sense in dealing with the situation, in a practical and sensible fashion. I know she has spoken warmly of the experience she has already gained with 'Wags and Walks' and I am pleased that she has applied to you to take a further step in terms of her work with dogs. In sum, I have no hesitation in strongly recommending my daughter for this work.
