Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with spaniels and greyhounds and family and friends have relied on me to care for their precious pups when they go away. I love going for walks and really getting to know the quirky personalities of dogs. I dog sit with my partner, Joe, who you will see in some of the photos on here. He to grew up around animals and loves it when we have furry guests. We often joke that he’s the dog whisperer- as a few owners have said that their dogs aren’t keen on men, but soon enough they prefer him to me! I’ve had very recent experience of caring for puppies under 9 months, as well as elderly dogs too. We’ve cared for bigger dogs, smaller dogs, high energy breeds as well as those that just want cuddles on the sofa.

I could not have left my little dachshund Rosie with a more caring and loving family . Natasha boarded my little rescue dog for 8 days . Rosie loved every minute. She was allowed to cuddle up to Natasha while she was working from home . They took her lots of walks to the woods and Derbyshire villages . I was sent photos of Rosie looking so happy , which made my holiday so carefree . Thank you Natasha, for all your love and care of Rosie xx

I cannot thank and praise Natasha enough for her time with my dog, Paddy. Paddy is a somewhat challenging dog and she and her partner were so accommodating with his quirks and looked after him wonderfully, with frequent and well-wanted updates and photos, and when I picked him up he had clearly been very settled and cared for during his time there, and I cannot recommend her enough. We have a secure, fenced garden for your dog to safely play in (6ft fence). I try my best to replicate the dogs home experience at my home- so if your dog normally sleeps in the bedroom/on the bed this isn’t a problem at all. We love the cuddles! We are happy for any owners to come over prior to the dog stay, for your peace of mind. I can provide pupdates to let you know how your dog is and to show you what they’ve been up to.

It would be helpful to know if your dog has been spayed or neutered, if they are reactive to other dogs and how they are generally. It’s so helpful to know as much about a dogs personality as possible
A typical day
I love to play a good tug of war with dogs in my home/garden. We will go on walks around my local area for example- on the canal or any of the local parks, (and further afield if given permission) such as Linacre. I understand from my experience that mental stimulation is just as important as physical and will provide as much of this as possible

Availability
I currently work from home Mon-Fri, and so can easily go out for walks at least 3 times per day. I live within walking distance from fields and the chesterfield canal. Working from home also means I can let dogs out for regular toilet breaks and often have breaks in my day where we can play.
