Pet care experience
I'm lucky my life has always been filled by animals: dogs, cats, ferrets, bunnies, chickens, turtles,...! They play hard and love harder. And their lives are short so I try to make sure every day is their happiest :) I enjoy this sidejob because I have a lot of love to give, extra time, and I enjoy the exercise. I'm experienced with special needs pups, currently I have my second deaf pitty. Aside from basic tricks, I've trained her by hand signals to turn on/off lights, bring my purse, open the fridge, play dead, and she's turning into an amazing guard dog spotting coyotes. I also have a special place in my heart for elderly furbabies, they take a lot of patience and understanding. Slow walks, belly rubs, gentle baths, delicate diets. They deserve extra love!

Natasha handled a lot, on last minute vacation. 3 dogs and a cat. The 2 small dogs are barkers and not super friendly, one big dog lots of energy and a grumpy cat. They warmed up to her at meet and greet, she was patient with their attitudes.. Nice to have photos everyday. I felt good knowing they were in competent hands and was able to enjoy my trip. We’ve used Tasha repeatedly over the last few months and are thrilled with the way she looks after our 10 year old dog. Nobody knows your furbaby better than you, so I will firmly stick to your care instructions. I am a "helicopter mom" by nature, and take extra precautions to double-check everything to ensure safety (leashes, collars, gates locked, etc). I also believe in positive reinforcement and canine enrichment. Animals need brain stimulation as much as physical exercise to stay healthy- so I like to do tricks and give small treats during walks. I have a big cuddly husky mix (Kiko) who loves every animal and human, large and small (he used to lick clean my ferret, haha)- so if your pup needs some k9 interaction, with your permission I would love for them to meet and play/walk together.

I'm a roll-with-the-punches kind of gal, but the more information you share about your furbabies the better :-) I love all breeds and sizes. I'm not afraid of pullers or rabbit chasers, haha, so don't be afraid to warn me. If they're on diet restrictions I prefer to use their kibble as "treats" when doing tricks.
A typical day
Some dogs like to go on sniffari's smelling every little thing, others speed race, and others like to play ball in the backyard for hours. Let's do it all! ? Ferrets dook, dook, dook until they're pooped out ? crazy little boogers! And what kitty doesn't love a laser pointer?! Sweet snuggles and silly mouse chases. Pipe cleaners are fun!
