Experience? When I was 10 years old, I kept my tamagotchi Dalmatian alive for over 2 months. If for some reason you would like more information about me..read on. A lot of profiles claim their "Pet Care Experience" and "love for animals" began in childhood. They will use every interaction they've had with an animal in the past 25 years and somehow count them as “Pet Care Experience.” Um no. 1. I'm sorry, you feeding cheetos to that family of feral cats living in that field next to your Elementary School. Doesn't count as experience. 2. Loving animals as a kid is not something unique. Is anyone really surprised that as a kid you liked animals??? No. Of course not. Don’t brag about it..it's not special. Have you ever asked a child what their favorite animal is and have them respond "none. I hate all animals. Animals are the worst." No you haven’t…(If you have, that child is most likely going to be a serial killer or at least not grow up to become a pet sitter on Rover.com.) Anyway... enough about them..here's what ya need to know about me. From birth to now Ive always had pets in my home. Dog, rabbit, chinchilla, Guiena Pig, ball python, gecko, bearded dragons. The list goes on… but it stops as birds. I don’t do birds. Don’t really do cats either. For multiple reasons. But that’s beside the point. Bird & cat pets aside. Im pro-pet. Hip hip!! Like any normal pet owner, I enjoy keeping my animals alive and healthy. Not once have I tried to starve my animals or neglect them in such a way that they would be featured on the sad commercial with the “Arms of the Angel” song playing in the background. Those owners are the worst. Lucky for you… I am not the worst! Sarcasm aside…I’ll treat your pets like I would want someone to treat my pets. I’ll accommodate their/your needs and give you peace of mind as you vacation or do time in prison. (No judgements) If your animal has medical issues, a drug or alcohol addiction, gang affiliation, is running from the law or needs special care. I got it. If I don’t got it… I’ll Google it. Duh! Unless it needs a kidney transplant or a face lift. That’s gross and shouldn’t be looked up on the Google. I walk my dogs every day, if your pet wants to join us, great. If not, great. Sleep on the bed or sleep on the floor? Again don’t care. Im good with both. Last and certainly not least… There is 1 thing I will not do. I refuse to call your dog a fur baby or any other lame name like that. Why? Because it's weird and stupid. I cringe & immediately check out of a conversation when someone starts talking about “furbabies.” I just can’t. Plus your pet doesn’t like it either. They just put up with it because you feed them.
