Pet care experience
Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences (Animal Behavior and Physiology) from Arizona State University. I have 5 years paid experience as an Elephant Keeper at The Phoenix Zoo (Arizona Center for Nature Conservation), 4 years volunteer experience as a Keeper’s Assistant at the Phoenix Zoo, and over 8 years volunteer experience with veterinary hospitals and other animal rehab facilities. I have 3 high energy dogs who I love to take hiking and on walks. I have extensive experience with different dog breeds and their unique needs. I regularly sit for clients with reptiles, small mammals, and farm animals (lots of chickens)! I welcome all breeds, big and small, short and tall. I’m very comfortable with medicating sick or senior animals and am happy to give them that extra attention. Working with animals is one of the most rewarding jobs I could have imagined. Now that I have transitioned from my in person zookeeper career to my new remote work career, I’m eager to spend as much time as possible with animals while pet sitting!

Natalie took care of our cat and bunny and did an amazing job. She met with us before our trip to understand all their needs and schedule and then provided updates and picture while we were travelling. They were completely happy on our return. Definitely will ask her to pet sit for us again in the future.

A typical day
With 3 high energy dogs, I’m used to never ending playtime inside the house during the heat and outside during the best weather. We walk, hike, and go for plenty of car rides. Our dogs are our family.

I work 8am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday and have the ability to work remotely. Depending on my meeting volume I can spend a good chunk of my work day at your home during a scheduled drop in!
