Pet care experience
As someone who lived for 16 years with a canine sister, I understand how important it is to provide a loving and affectionate environment for dogs in order to ensure that they feel safe and comfortable. I have also worked for many years at local animal shelters, and understand how to handle and provide affection for all types of dogs. As a result of this work, I recognize that not all dogs are friendly with everybody they meet. Thus, I will take every precaution necessary to ensure that your dog feels safe with me. My goal is to make any dog-sitting or walking experience a positive one for the both of us.

Natalie took amazing care of our dog, Cricket, while we went away for a weekend. She kept us updated on how Cricket was doing and sent some adorable photos. I recommend Natalie to anyone who wants to rest easy while away from their pets.
Natalie walked our pup Raha for almost 5 days straight and we couldn't have been happier! She followed all our instructions, sent us very detailed and speedy updates as well as summaries of the visits and the walk and was very attentive to how Raha was doing overall. She let me know immediately if she e.g. had soft poop or an itch on her paw. Very very happy we found her!

I understand that some animals are not always friendly with strangers, so I take care to not invade an animal's personal space as a new face walking into their home. Sometimes, animals are unwilling to engage with me in the home or even on walks. In these cases, I will get in touch with you to update you on the situation and make adjustments if necessary.

A typical day
Playing fetch and tug-of-war is often a dog favorite, and are two games that I enjoy as well! My preferred form of exercise is walking, so I am willing to go on extended walks with dogs in neighborhoods, on urban trails, through parks...anywhere that has interesting sights and smells.
