Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Natalie. I am a 33 year old music teacher, Thompson School Forest Technology alum, and animal lover living in Dover, NH. Being a pet caregiver for cats and dogs is the next best thing to owning and living with them! Each one has a personality I enjoy getting to know. I’ve cared for vizslas, pit bulls, German shepherds and Chinese rural dogs. I’m used to handling dogs as small as terrier puppies and as large as Chows. I’ve done everything from feeding and kenneling teams of sled dogs, to feeding and deworming a yard of Anatolian shepherd mixes and socializing therapy dog puppies. I have the patience, compassion, and energy to assess an animal’s needs and give them proper and appropriate care, exercise and attention. I hope you consider me a viable caregiver for your animal friend.
About Natalie S.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a large warehouse loft suited to take two dogs or two cats at a time. Pets are allowed on my furniture unless my client expresses a wish to keep them off the floor or couch. If provided a crate, I have no problem crating at my home. I always do a tick check on pets that play in leaves and roll in grass in warm weather. If I’m house-sitting at a client’s home, I rely on directions given to me by the client. I have no problem using pee-pads if necessary.
Home
Information Natalie S. would like to know about your pet
Temperament, history of behavior with other animals and people, reactivity triggers, rescued or bred, health accommodations, if they take medication, have anxiety, need to run or be carried up stairs, their regular vet, emergency vet, and emergency contact if I cannot get in touch with the owner.
A typical day
Walk, walk, walk! I love being outside with dogs and getting them to jog for a little exercise. Toys and treats are my favorite. If I’m taking care of a lap pet, I like to relax with them and lavish them with affection. For cats, I like to play with them using feather toys and tunnels.

Availability
I’m currently working a variety of gigs, so my schedule is flexible enough to care for your pet! I teach music lessons four times a week for an hour in the afternoon, and have food service shifts a few times a month. This leaves me with ample time to take care of your pet.
