Dog walking: I'm good at walking dogs because I've done it for friends and family numerous times over the years and I know that each dog is a little different. It's all about the details and watching and listening to their needs. Some dogs need to be allowed to roam while on a leash, some have to be really reigned in around other dogs- I can accommodate any type of dog. Drop-ins: I have also done this for family and friends- I've done drop ins for a pair of Schnauzers while their owners were in the UK for 2 weeks. I've done drop ins on my parents Chihuahua and Rat Terrier for years as well. Every dog is a little different- they are like people. The info provided by their owners re: their preferences is very important. I can also drop in on cats; I have two cats myself! I know that they don't usually want to act like they need attention, but especially older cats do appreciate a head rub and a couple crunchy treats. Overnight care: I know dogs usually keep sleeping schedules similar to us, but I also know that they often times need to use the bathroom at night, like us! I can handle that! I don't mind a dog in the bed with me too, if that's what makes them comfortable- it's all about catering to each specific animal and what they prefer. I've done this for numerous friends and family members- it's not difficult to make sure doors are locked and keep a home secure. I can treat your home and your pet like it's my own, and make sure it's safe and comfortable.
