I have a fully enclosed garden which is 6-foot walled and fenced and a gated front forecourt. All rooms have doors, and your dog will have access to all rooms in the house. For added security, the stairs will have gates on and there is plenty of room if your dog needs crating upon request. There is also plenty of room if a quiet space needs to be created for your dog. Dogs are allowed on the furniture creating a home away from home environment. The owners of the dogs I currently walk have given me keys to access their house so that when their dogs need walking, they do not have to worry about being available to let me in. My cat has a quiet area in the house where he sleeps when he is in and wants some space, and this can be closed off too. All doors are left open during the day and night for him to roam freely if he chooses to, and now and again, he sleeps on our bed.
