Since I was little I have always loved animals, especially dogs! I would often wake up early enough to catch a show on animal planet before I had to leave for school. I knew I wanted to work in some way with animals. Fast forward a few years, I was fortunate enough to land a job at a fantastic animal hospital which also boarded cats and dogs. I worked there for several years, cleaning kennels, walking, feeding, and administering oral medication to dogs, as well as, assisting vet techs regularly. It was my dream come true! Now I am a stay at home mom and my children have recently been asking for a dog. Dog sitting provides the perfect opportunity for them to catch a glimpse of what having their own pet would be like and affords me the opportunity to work with animals again.
