Pet care experience
Hi there, I have always had lots of animals in my life since I was young. I had two black labs and a norwegian elkhound growing up along with three cats, a gecko, a bird, and two bunnies. Our neighborhood was very friendly towards animals and I would care for all of my neighbor's animals while they were on vacation. This allowed me to get used to caring for all kinds of dogs from mini poodles to 150 pound mutts with a variety of temperaments. I also volunteered with a local shelter and would foster both puppies and kittens. I have joined Rover because I don't currently have any pets at the moment and miss interacting with them, but unfortunately I am not in a place where I can care for my own pet full time. I hope to meet lots of great animals through this app!

Natalie took in my pup for doggy daycare on very short notice. She was very responsive to my texts and sent updates throughout the day, which put me at ease. My dog has a little bit of separation anxiety, so I was happy he had company all day even when just napping. I’d use her services again!
She was so helpful watching both dogs while I went on vacation. Would definitely book her again.

I would like to know if they have any behavior issues to keep an eye out for or health issues/concerns. I also would like to know feeding schedules, walk schedules, and any issues with other dogs/cats or humans. If boarding dogs, it’s nice to have a detailed schedule of what a typical day is like for your dog. I prefer to adhere to the dog’s standard schedule so they don’t get confused or upset.
A typical day
I really enjoy taking dogs on walks on the beach and hiking on nature trails when I’m in CT. Now that I’m in the city (in the East village by Tompkins square park) I prefer to just take dogs on long walks since they are sometimes cooped up in apartments for a while. I like allowing the dogs to socialize with other dogs as well at local dog parks (if permitted). I like to have fun with animals, but also don't let them go too crazy and out of control. I took obedience classes with my dogs growing up and like to think that my dogs were very well behaved and trained!
