Greetings! My name is Natalie! We are a Rover Sitter family! 3-generations of sitters from Texas to North Carolina with over 25 years of pet-care experience!!! Nurturing a stray, saving a shelter dog or just snuggling with a kitty has been a passion of mine since I was 13 years old. I have always had pets growing up and my love for them has grown tremendously as I’ve gotten older. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets, caring for those of my family, friends and volunteering over the years with the Austin SPCA and Travis County Humane Society. I will accept all types of breeds and age groups and have 18+ years of experience with senior pets, administering medication, blind or disabled pets, collapsed tracheas, seizures, epilepsy, pregnant mamas and pets with anxiety. I can work with lap dogs, large dogs and pets with behavioral issues. I have extensive training working with seeing-eye dogs and was raised in a home with the original Western European Breed of German Shepherd’s for the blind that were trained underneath the instruction of my father and uncle in British Columbia. 🐾 I have also actively participated and supported the Austin Texas German Shepherd Rescue Group for over 5 years and have been a member of the National Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand since 2001. But that’s not all! I have owned all types of pets, from hamsters to rats to fish, lizards, snakes, birds, dogs, cats, and was raised on a ranch in South Texas with cows, horses, goats, mules, chickens, pigs and more! I am extremely saddened and disappointed to leave a negative review, because I really thought Natalie was going to be great. It started off well and she seemed organized, friendly, and always sent pictures. However one day she just didn’t show up. She texted in the morning saying she’d be by later in the afternoon, and just didn’t show up. I was concerned that something bad happened to her, so both my roommate and I reached out to her multiple times over the next several days to check on her with no response. We could see during that time that she was both active on Facebook and the rover app, as she updated her calendar and posted pictures being out at a Mexican restaurant with family. She only finally reached out to my roommate because she was upset that she also left a bad review. All we wanted was to know she was okay, and it would have taken 10 seconds out of her day to text us. Seeing as how she was able to use her phone in other ways during that time, I find it very unprofessional to no call no show. So I unfortunately can’t recommend her.
DO NOT BOOK. I would like to warn you all to stay away from booking with Natalie. She has deleted my previous review. Natalie was scheduled to come and let my dog out and had confirmed with me in the morning, when she never showed up I was concerned something horrible happened. I reached out several times with no answer. Later I saw she had posted several times on social media that she was out drinking. She ended up leaving my dog in her crate for 16+ hours. I CANNOT recommend Natalie sadly as she is UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. you all deserve to know what kind of person will be taking care of your animal.
Natalie took the best care of my pup. We went on vacation and she took the best car of baker sent us pictures and updates the whole time. We didn’t even feel like we left him alone. And he was just as happy when we came home. 10/10
Natalie has done a great job walking my dog while I’m at work! She is very knowledgeable and careful when dealing with him. 10/10 I definitely recommend.

Availability
Schedule: I have a very flexible schedule: I have worked a corporate job my entire career and decided it was time to spend more quality time at home with my two rescue dogs Wickey and Tucker and my family! I have plenty of time to love and care for your pet Monday - Sunday and can help transport them to vet appointments or wherever they need to go. Our home is open and spacious with hard work flooring. We have an enclosed small backyard for sitting under the sun watching the birds and squirrels and live in a safe, gated community that knows everyone’s dogs by name. ;)
