Pet care experience
I’ve been in the animal welfare industry for 5 years, having previously worked for KC Pet Project, Columbia Second Chance, and MeowLuxe! I have devoted my life to the care and well-being of all animals on this planet ❤️🌎 🐕 At KCPP, I trained animal shelter volunteers in dog walking, dog and cat body language, and using clicker training. I have Fear-Free Shelters Certification as well as ASPCA Pro training in animal body language. I grew up with two Airedale Terriers named Macee and Ginger. 🐈 At Second Chance, I managed a daily cat care team and made emergency medical decisions for cats. I was also an animal caretaker at MeowLuxe, a luxury cat boarding facility in Columbia, MO. I have personally fostered over 30 cats, many of them shy and fearful, and have extensive experience administering medications to cats such as sub-q fluids, oral/topical/injection medications, and more! I currently have 2 cats whom I foster failed… oops! 🐾 I believe in positive reinforcement only, and will instill the "Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive" techniques when handling your animal! After all - they just met me!

Natalie is a very kind and generous pet sitter. One of my cats has anxiety, and Natalie was more than willing to come and sit on the floor until he became comfortable around her, while actively playing with my high energy kitten everyday I was on vacation. She's the most knowledgeable cat sitter I have ever used with tons of fostering and animal rescue experience. For Anyone who is anxious leaving their pet with a stranger, I can assure you that you won't find a better sitter than Natalie. Nobody will love and appreciate your pets as much as you do, but Natalie will come close.
Natalie literally devotes her life to animals. You should have her watch/ take care of your pets if you love your pets more than anything else in this world. Only the best will do and Natalie is the best. She literally cleans her own cats litter box every day. She knows all the signs of if anything is abnormal or wrong, she knows when the pets need play or rest, she knows the best foods and enrichments. She knows it all!

How does your animal react to a new person in the home? I’d love to meet your animal and gain their trust and affection! For dogs: please let me know about the dog’s history with other dogs, with kids, and with strangers so I can make the best decisions on behalf of your dog on walks. I would love to know other personality information you could provide such as behavior on a leash and whether or not they guard resources.
A typical day
You can expect me to spend time getting to know your pet and trying to wear them out best I can with play and enrichment for those hours away. For dogs: I avoid dog parks / populated areas whenever necessary, especially since I don’t know your dog as well as you! I am happy taking a walk in your neighborhood or traveling to some trails and paths in the area that aren’t so congested.

I have a very open schedule and at the moment am available full-time for your animals! I am active and consider it important to play with your animal during my time with them, in addition to feeding, walking, and preparing enrichment for them.
