I have had pets since I was 4 and cared for animals ranging from fish, rabbits, cats, dogs, and even horses! Currently my family has a black lab (who I love and miss) but no pets of my own at home. I helped to train my family dog as a puppy, so feel comfortable with young dogs. My family dog has knee problems and has had surgery, so I have experience with dogs that have physical limitations and understand how difficult it can be. I have experience cat sitting for neighbors which included daily drops-ins to feed the cats and clean their litter box. From ages 9-19 I had a pet rabbit that I took care of which included feeding, exercising, brushing, and cleaning his cage regularly. Overall, I feel very comfortable around animal and have always loved them.
