Beggin' For A Walk?
Pet care experience
At 6 years old I started a dog biscuit business in my neighborhood. Each week I would walk around with a fresh batch of biscuits and sell them to my neighbors, meeting and getting to know their dogs in the process. So, you could say I was destined for the pet service industry. Fast forward to last year when I began sitting in my past time, finding that I loved the interactions with both the dogs and the people. So, I quit my job, began taking certification courses for Pet First Aid and Professional Pet Sitting, and started sitting and walking full time. It has been a delight so far!

Natalie did a great job motivating our English Bulldog to go on his daily walks. She kept us informed if she noticed anything out of the norm and was always on time.
Natalie did a great job with our boy, Chubbs. She kept us updated with any changes to his behavior or health. Great person to work with :) I would highly recommend and if I ever need a walker and she is available I will book with her.

When visiting a client's home, I ensure that I provide services specific to their pet(s). I recognize that different dogs need to be greeted in different ways, that some dogs require a more strict routine, and that others will require medicine or certain care at the onset of the service. Beyond meeting needs and service requests (a walk, feeding, etc.) I also give each pet an abundance of attention, affection and positive care. When leaving the home, I ensure that I left it as I found it, locking doors and setting alarms if required.

A typical day
I love to take the time to get to know what each dog likes and is interested in. I've found that some dogs love to stop and sniff every little thing, while others find thrill in quick sprints, and others still need a scratch on the head every few minutes. Spending time with them in ways that they most enjoy makes the time together even more fun for us both!

Dog walking is my part-time gig! I am committed to providing excellent service to local dogs and their owners. I’m available during the afternoon Monday-Thursday and all day on Fridays and Saturdays. Can't wait to meet you and your pup!
