Remote Worker with a Love for Pets

Pet care experience

I've cared for big and small dogs alike since I was 8 years old! I have plenty of experience with diverse breeds, personalities, and needs. I also took specialized training from ASPCA related to interpreting dog body language and behaviors. I can handle any size dog, and welcome Pitties like any other. I will build a trusting relationship with your pets to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. I work from home some weeks but travel during others, so I can't have pets of my own yet! My fiance is a police officer, so he's the best emergency contact there is. My philosophy on pet sitting is that I will mirror their normal routines as much as possible. I stay at home almost 24/7 when I'm watching pets.

Natalie was absolutely wonderful with our pups. She was so thoughtful during her stay, sent regular pictures and videos, and left our home in pristine condition.

Natalie was absolutely wonderful! My dog has separation anxiety. She was very knowledgeable and patient with ways to calm him down, including remembering where he likes to be scratched to ease his mind. She sent me numerous pictures and videos to show how he was coping which put my mind at ease as well. I would definitely re-book with her again!

Natalie stayed at our home for 5-days and was great with our two dogs. They were well cared for and we appreciated all the pictures/videos and text updates of the dogs while we were away. Before her stay she came twice to our home to help the dogs acclimate to her, which made us feel comfortable about leaving. Thank you so much, Natalie!

This was my dog, Lola's (Mini Dachshund), second stay with Natalie. Natalie was great both times. Very organized and thoughtful with everything your dog needs. Lola has incredible separation anxiety and Natalie was able to make her feel comfortable instantly. She truly cares for the dogs she takes care of and that's all you can ask for as an owner. She was updating me with pictures and texts while I was away. I was so comfortable with Natalie while on my trip, that at one point I completely forgot my dog was even boarding with her. I 100% plan on using her again.

Information Natalie L. would like to know about your pet

Let me know any likes or dislikes your dog has. Do they like snuggling? Do they hate having their paws touched? Maybe they get scared when people have hats on? Are they "aggressive" around their food? Every dog is unique and I want them to feel comfortable with me.

A typical day

I love to stimulate their brain and body! I first let them investigate all the new smells and get used to me. We'll take a small walk outside to get used to each other, then come inside for a treat and some play time, likely followed by a well-deserved nap while I work. Sometime in the day, we'd take another walk and play outside. In the evening, they'd enjoy dinner while I cook my dinner and settle in for some snuggles/pets and a little more play time before bed. Midnight bathroom runs are totally fine! If your dog seems to miss you (as they should), I'll be sure to stop working and give them some distraction with play time, a walk, or snuggles.

Caring for a pet would be a natural flow in my day. I work standard hours from 8ish to 5ish PM but have many breaks in the day and few meetings, so your furry friend would get lots of attention! If your dog barks or whines a lot, we may need to discuss if they would be a good fit, as I do have work meetings where I am speaking.
