Loving Intuitive Human Friend
Pet care experience
For the past 7+ years I have gained experience dogsitting for almost all kinds of dogs small to large, young to elderly, including end of life hospice care, and leash reactive dogs. I love to go out on long walks with them, give them baths if needed and brush them, play, and snuggle with them if they are the co-sleeping kind of pet. I feel that I have a very intuitive sense for how animals feel and what their needs are. Dogs seem to feel very close and trusting of me quickly. I talk with them just like they are fellow people and treat them with the respect and dignity that they deserve. My pet experience does not stop with dogs though. I have cared for many cats over the years and even a household of 6 different cats! Cuddling and playing with them is also a delight. In addition, I have cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, parakeets, cockatiels, and fish. There are not many pets I have not been exposed to in some way aside from snakes (yes, I have even cared for turtles too!) If I am house sitting, I typically go out for a walk once in the early day and another time in the evening. If scheduling dog walks, I am typically available anywhere between 11-7 and will be sure to return them sans muddy paws and as dry as possible, given our rainy Seattle weather and the limits of towel absorption, to your home.
Reviews
Natalie is always so good with my goofy girl, Shasta!
Natalie is always so great with our dog and two cats. They love her and we know they are in safe and capable hands. 👍
Natalie is best. Her patience and love of all animals has totally won over my dog!
Thanks for attempting

When in my clients' homes, I feed and administer medications as required, play with them in the yard and take them on daily walks 2 times a day with a potty break midday. Depending on the needs and disposition of the dog, I can take them along with me to walk with my other clients' dogs throughout the day. Any other special needs can be discussed and often accommodated.
Information Natalie L. would like to know about your pet
Have they been known to be aggressive around certain dogs or situations (bicyclists or skateboarders)? Do they have body sensitivities or special needs or limitations? Have they been sick recently or been on medication for a prior condition? Special commands or incentives for positive behavior? Places they love or places they do not fare well at? How is it best to approach them as we get to know one another?
A typical day
Depending on the location of residence and length of dog walk desired, I will either take your dog(s) on a walk to a nearby park or load them in my car to take them for a walk around Greenlake, a trek through Discovery Park, a romp around Magnuson or some other fun outdoor place where they can get their legs moving, or take them along with me on neighborhood walks along with other pups in my charge. Tossing a dog toy of their liking to play fetch in the yard or inside, or just a moderate to vigorous walk to get their energy moving are all things I enjoy doing. When housesitting with your pet, snuggles, and petting are all par for the course of my time spent with them.
