Hello! I’ve volunteered at APLs for the last 6 years, have previously co taught dog walking classes, and have a dog of my own, Jax, who is a rescue. I work full-time at a hospital during night shift and enjoy helping others. Also, my nursing school classes are on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s primarily. My passion for helping isn’t limited to people though! I enjoy walking dogs, don’t mind giving them baths, and engaging in some enthusiastic play-time with them! Prior to dedicating time to you and your dog, I’d like to meet them beforehand to see how they interact and what special needs they may have (for example, walking time of day and familiar locations, favorite toys) to make them feel more comfortable as well.
