I am an absolute dog person, I highly enjoy the company of dogs. I've had a Chihuahua as a family pet for twelve years, so I have experience with little dogs. I added an Australian shepherd to my life back in 2014, I trained and raised her as a puppy on my own- she is now 6 years old. She is my absolute favorite! Australian shepherds are high energy, so I can handle dogs with a lot of enthusiasm- if they want to play ball for a couple hours, I'm game! I honestly don't mind bathing dogs if you requested that in your dog-sitting session (for an extra fee), grooming can be fun. I recently started a groomer’s apprenticeship with Petco and have been bathing dogs of all sorts for about 7 months now. I am working my way up to be a trained groomer. A little about me, I graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.S. in wildlife conservation biology. So my passion for animals is broad, but canids are dear to my heart. I enjoy the outdoors, I love taking my pooch on the trail. So if your dog enjoys a hike, I wouldn't mind taking them out somewhere either.
