We loved Natalie! She took such good care of our Labradoodle when we were gone for a week. She was punctual, communicative and thoughtful. Our dog usually vomits when we are away due to his anxiety, and because Natalie gave him such good love and care, this didn't happen on her watch:) We would definitely use Natalie again!

I hired Natalie for a Th-Sunday housesitting term at $88/day, for two dogs and our cat. She was very nice during the walk through however I do not have a basis for higher than a 2 or 3 star review. Since reviews are subjective I will explain and I hope my review is viewed as constructive. After a walk through I was under the impression Natalie would be staying the nights as she and I discussed and why I hired a housesitter. I thought she said the dogs would be walked at least 1x per day and I left it up to her if comfortable walking my older dog that can be hard to handle on a leash. I said our 10 month old will love the walks. The 3 star review represnts what I see as a minimum level of service as a "meets expectation". I dropped the review to 2 stars given my disappointment in that the commitment to what was discussed during the walk through. All looked exactly as I left it - same cups were still next to sink - and pets were fine - no additional level of service such as vacuuming, mopping, wiping counters (when a babysitter and Rover housesitter I always left a home cleaner than when I arrived). I had to ask how often she was there and how many times the dogs were walked. I was disappointed that she did not spend the nights after I shared with her it was important to me. A 4 star review would be if she had been forthcoming with information on how often she was at the house and for me a 5 star review would be doe didn above and beyond in any way that I can tell (and maybe there was but those things were not communicated with me). My first expectation was Natalie would be spending the night as a housesitter. She did not tell me she wasn't planning to spend the night during our walk through visit prior to my leaving town even though I shared it was important to me that she spend the night and I showed her the bedroom, etc. I had everything all cleaned up for her and I had to ask if she had spent the nights. I also thought she was going to walk the dogs at least 1x/day and I left it up to her if she was comfortable walking our dog that can be leash aggressive. Each dog she said after I asked her had 2 walks each. She said she'd provide a lot of photos but I only received photos on Friday. She shared Saturday was a nap day for the dogs. While I understand she was at the house 8-10 hours per day my view is that Natalie performed at a minimum level of service. The dogs were fed and she spent time with them but that seems to be all.
