Animal lover without a pet!
Pet care experience
I grew up with all kinds of pets from cats to birds to tortoises and even had 13 guinea pigs! I’ve volunteered with various shelters and humane societies over the years and have picked up on training and working with all kinds of dogs with different histories. I also have experience house sitting for a friend whose dog is large, strong, and has some leash aggression. I am patient and calm and can work with any kind of temperament! I have also house sat for friends that owned five rats. I love all animals and miss having fur babies to take care of and play with! I am fully vaccinated for covid and am still very cautious with hand washing, wearing a mask, and social distancing.

Our dog is not a pet sitter's dream. He is very shy and takes a lot of patience. This is due to having been abused as a puppy. However, by the end of the first day we were gone, Natalie was sending me photos of him relaxing and letting her pet him. She is excellent, very patient and loving. He was exercised quite a bit (needed for a 60 pound dog). She is going sit him again for sure. We are so happy to have found Natalie. Thanks, Rover!

We were SO grateful to have Natalie visit with us and look after our fur babies! Not only was she amazing with our two dogs, but she was respectful of our home and treated it like her own, seeming to leave it even cleaner than when she first arrived! She always responded to our texts promptly, and frequently texted us pictures of our dogs enjoying their time with her so we never had to worry. We even came home to find one of our dogs (who doesn’t usually take well to strangers), snuggling with her on the couch!! We have nothing but paws-itive things to say about Natalie, and would gladly have her back to house-sit and doggy-sit anytime! Maeghan & Roderick and Hank and Em (woof woof)
Natalie is great with my dog! He can be a little rambunctious and high energy, but Natalie works really well with him. My dog is also really picky about who he likes, and he gets so excited every time Natalie comes to walk with him. She also takes him on different hikes throughout Oahu so he gets all his energy out on the trails.

A typical day
You tell me! If your dog likes the park or meeting other dogs, we can go to a park. If he/she has high energy, we can go on hikes (with a doggy bowl and water of course). If your pet just wants to go on a short stroll in your neighborhood we can definitely do that too!

I am currently taking some time off full-time work before I go back to school to begin a PhD program so my schedule is completely open. I would love to meet and care for your fur baby anytime throughout the day.
