Pet care experience
I have been a professional Executive Assistant to various high-end clients on island for the past 3 years. Because of this, I have extensive experience dealing professionally with individuals and their families, including their pets! I have experience house and animal-sitting, dog-walking, as well as personal experience having animals of my own. I also come with a high-level of respect for privacy and confidentiality with your personal home, environment and belongings. Signing up for Rover is a great opportunity for me to help those in need, as I know how stressful it can be leaving your furry loved ones behind while you're either just at work, or gone off island. I would like to know what sensitivities any dog has to their surroundings. Do they not like to be touched or pet in certain areas? Do they not like other dogs (in case I take to dog park)? Do they have food allergies or treat specifics? Do they need a certain level of activity a day? Do they have a history of biting or nipping? Etc. Thank you!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walk in their own neighborhoods, if walkable, because they usually know and love their current home and surroundings. However, if neighborhoods aren't walkable, or don't have good spaces for dogs to run around and play, I love taking dogs to walk around Magic Island, Kahala, the Diamond Head loop (not the full loop with dogs, unless specified), The Kahala park at Hunakai is a great spot to throw tennis balls! There are great dog parks near Diamond Head as well.
