Pet care experience
Growing up in Texas, I was raised on a farm with at least seven dogs and six cats throughout my life plus a whole menagerie of non-human companions. I love animals more than anything! In addition to housesitting my parents' 10+ animals since high school, I worked at my local vet clinic as a boarding specialist throughout high school and college. Additionally, I frequently provided then and now pet-care to friends and family before Rover existed. My experience in boarding kennels means I have seen and handled everything in a high-stress environment and have been held accountable for the safety and comfort of hundreds of animals. I find no animal too daunting and will treat them like they are my own. My goal is to make you comfortable and relaxed during your time away as much as your furry companions with me!

I'm somewhat notorious about winning over the hearts of shy or aggressive pets and truly have no breed preferences professionally. My own home has had a wide variety of breeds ranging from Shelties, a poodle, a chihuahua, Aussie/border collie mix, labs, rat terriers, and coonhounds, and I've worked with almost every breed and anything in between at my vet clinic. I would appreciate knowing about their general energy level or any particular routines to ensure I can satisfy their needs.
A typical day
I love walking and jogging with dogs! Whether it's walking around the neighborhood or playing in the backyard or belly scratching on the couch, I can ensure your dog's needs will be satisfied and that they and you can rest easy. I will also play fetch with them if toys are provided. At your request, I can take your dog(s) to your preferred park of choice.
