Pet care experience

Tender Loving Care!

Hi! I'm Natalie. I've had dogs my entire life and have always been a dog person. I currently have a Terrier mix, but I've owned dogs up to 85 lbs as well as dogs all sizes in between. I've been dog sitting on Rover professionally since 2017, have been trusted to care for friends dogs in their homes while they are away, and now I would love to care for yours! I will do my best to provide anything you request for your dog to make them happy! In caring for my own dogs, I only provide things that I know are best for them, and I will treat your dog like my own. Want me to take them to the dog park? No problem! Go for a long walk or hike? I love hikes! Swim? I have access to a private pool! Throw the toy until my arm gives out? No problem!

Natalie is a very calm and caring caretaker for our dog, Bentley and he was well taken care of while we were gone. Bentley seemed to enjoy his time with Natalie and her dog, Molly. We would definitely like to use Natalie in the future as she was a perfect fit for his temperament. He needs structure, a dependable schedule and human companionship. Thank you, Natalie!

Dog Walking • Feb 23, 2026

Last minute change affecting a brief but very important 18 hour trip. Natalie agreed to walk my sweet dog at the last minute- I don’t know what we’d have done had I not found Natalie. And the pics she took were adorable! I’ll definitely hire her again.

This is our second time using Natalie. She agreed to sit Mimi last minute and sent photos. She was also patient when I was running behind schedule for pick up. Looking forward to future stays!

House Sitting • Aug 22, 2022

Unfortunately, did not have a good experience with Natalie. She did homesitting in our home for a week, and in that week, we did not receive any updates or pictures or any kind of communication of how things were going. We had to reach out to her to ask and would get very short answers. We asked her to take them out every 4 hours, to which she agreed, and she would leave for extended amounts of time. At one point, she had been gone for nearly 10 hours and I asked her if everything was okay and she said she had been helping her dad and it took a long time. That’s completely fine and understandable, but it is the lack of communication that was troubling. Our dogs got out several times and ran up to our guests. We also had to ask her to please ensure she was closing the door properly. She did not take them out for a walk a single time in one week.

Schedule

I work a full time job, however my office is under 15 minutes from my apartment; so I do go home every day at lunch to walk my own dog. This allows me to be available to take dogs out in the morning before work (8-8:30 AM), at lunch time (around 1:00-1:30 PM usually), after work (6-6:30 PM) and before bed (between 10:30-11:30 PM) - which is around every 5 hours or so.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Does not have a yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

Your dogs are allowed on my furniture and I have a basket of toys for them to play with. I also have a Large crate if needed. My dog will keep your pup company! When staying at your home, I would need to bring my dog along. We usually will have a "meet and greet" and/or discussion beforehand in order to make sure it is a good fit.

Pets

A typical day

At least 4 walks a day in/around my apartment complex. There is a very large grassy area that the dogs love to sniff around in. I also take my own dog to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano fairly often if it is not too hot outside, and I am happy to bring your pup along if I have gotten permission from you ahead of time, of course!
