Pet care experience
Hello! I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16 for neighbors, friends, and family. I can walk, bath, dog sit, and give medication to dogs. I have also fostered a few dogs throughout the years until they were able to find homes of their own. I have taken care of multiple sick, blind, and elderly dogs some of which required being carried to eat/got potty. I love spending time with animals and love getting know each new dogs personality!

For dog sitting it is important to me that I treat the clients dog/s with respect as well as their home. I have handled multiple blind, sick, and old dogs who need medication and I am familiar with their specific needs. I will communicate with the client to ensure the dogs needs are met and keep the clients dog entertained and healthy. I also understand that some dogs require more space than others and I am always sure to respect boundaries that the dog may want. Previously taking care of other people’s dogs I have taken them on frequent walks and made sure they were well cared for while their owners were away.

It’s important to me to know if your dog requires any special care, as well as sex, temperaments, age, triggers, or illnesses. Also knowing about the dogs eating/bathroom routine would be helpful!
A typical day
I love going on hikes and enjoying the outdoors so I’m more than happy spending my time taking dogs on plenty of walks. I am also familiar with high energy dogs and making sure they get enough exercise.

I am currently a student at UCSB and I am usually the busiest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Other days of the week I have quite a bit of free time and would love nothing more than to spend that time with animals!
