Join our little family for a while!

Pet care experience

Welcome to our happy little home! We have two small, friendly dogs and two dog friendly cats. We have a small yard and plenty of love to give. I just recently chose to leave my full time job to work with my two loves, animals & music (not necessarily together!) So I teach music lessons in the house and I am home most of the day. My husband works about 50% from home so it is rare that your dog will ever be alone. We are new to Rover, but not new to caring for animals. We foster & volunteer for a local rescue organization so we are accustomed to having house guests as well as visiting and walking the dogs in our rescue group. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Natalie was fantastic! She was super easy to work with, very flexible and accommodating when scheduling drop off and pick up times. I felt very confident that my pup was both safe and happy during her stay. A great overall experience! Would highly recommend!

Natalie and Josh did a GREAT job caring for our somewhat fearful 10 month old pup Olive, for the 2 weeks that we were away on a family trip abroad. Knowing we were extremely nervous leaving Olive with not only non-family members, but also for such a long period, for the first time, Natalie kept me updated with almost daily texts and photos of Olive and her activities and her progress settling into the family. Olive had so much fun with Natalie and Josh- playing with the other dogs and cats in the household, going on daily walks and even taking a trip to the beach....we joked that she wouldn’t want to come home! We cannot thank these two enough for their attentiveness and care of Olive and for putting our minds at ease while we were so far away.

Natalie is a fantastic find! I was anxious to leave my 6 month old Yorkshire Terrier puppy, Luci, while I traveled abroad. Natalie is a truly caring, patient, and terrific sitter. She calmed my nerves with her regular communication and her warm welcome to Luci. She clearly treated my pup as a part of her family and took great care of her. Whenever I travel, I hope that Natalie is available to watch my little one. She is the best!

Our little pup-pup LiLu had so much fun staying with Natalie, her hubby Josh, their pups Shakes & Marlowe and their kitty cats this last weekend while we where out of town. Our dog (LiLu) always gets super excited to go there and comes back happy and tired, she is always treated as part of the family. We have been going to Natalie for over a year now for dog boarding and highly recommend her for any of her services whether they be dog boarding, walking or daycare. They will have so much fun and be loved so much! We also love the picture updates Natalie sends during the stay too!

Information Natalie A. would like to know about your pet

We would love to know if your little ones are house trained as well as dog and cat friendly. We are happy to work with special needs; seniors, puppies, health issues, etc. as long as we can get an initial training from you. We would also like to know that your pets are vaccinated and the info for your prefered veterinarian.

A typical day

Josh and I were recently hanging out on the couch with one of our furry house guests and thought this was exactly what we would want for our dogs if we were away. It's so much more comforting to know your animals are in a loving home and being treated as part of the family. We are regulars at our local dog park and go for walks or hikes daily. Because our schedules are so different, our dogs are rarely home alone. Josh is self employed and often works from home so he is able to adjust his schedule as needed for our animals or our guests! Our dogs sleep in the bed with us and yours is welcome to as well, unless of course you have a different routine you'd like us to follow. We have a dog door which Shakespeare uses and Marlowe is piddle pad trained, so we are open to either option for your dogs. We have had experience with many different dog pesonalities and types; We haven taken our dogs through training & behavior classes & Natalie is a volunteer at Umbrella of Hope Rescue. We also nursed our senior dog, Jilly who had quite a few health issues for many years. One of Natalie's favorite hobbies is taking photos of dogs, so she will be happy to send you photos and updates while you're away!
