I have been with Rover for about 2.5 years now and I have experience with a variety of dog breeds, from low energy bulldogs to huskies that like to bounce off the walls. I worked at a pet boarding facility for 2 years and spent some time with the UF Small Animal Hospital as well. These positions have provided me exposure to many breeds/species with lots of knowledge on how to take care of pets with special needs. I grew up with many pets throughout my childhood (about 13 dogs & 4 cats), so it wasn't a surprise to anyone when animals quickly became my passion from a young age. I'm looking to work independently as my schooling is getting a bit more rigorous, so I would like to dedicate more time towards my studies. With that said, I have an open availability and am extremely flexible! I have been through the struggle of having to cancel travel plans due to a sitter not working out, so I will always do my best to accommodate last minute requests. My boyfriend and I live together in a 2-bedroom apartment with 2 cats that we adore. I don't typically introduce them to other animals unless it's an extended stay, but they've made plenty of friends with boarding pets in the past. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with a stranger, so rest assured that you will always receive daily messages and pictures with information on how your pet is doing during a stay.
