Pet care experience
I grew up with a family dog and have loved pet-sitting for friends’ dogs (and cats, too) since I moved to Bloomington six years ago. I don't have my own pup right now, so I'm very free and very excited to help you care for yours! I’m a runner and love keeping active, and I would be thrilled to take your dog for a run, hike, or walk—whatever matches their speed. I’m also happy to take care of any other doggie needs you specify—feeding, bathing, potty breaks, play time, you name it. I'm a music teacher and have a regular work schedule, with afternoon/evening availability on Mondays/Fridays and morning/afternoon availability Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays. Aside from marching band show days, my weekends are wide open. I really look forward to meeting you and your pups and helping keep them healthy and happy!

Please let me know if there are any situations that would upset your dog (is he/she nervous around cars, meeting strangers, etc.). How does he/she act around other dogs? Also, it’ll help me to know if your dog has any health conditions that will require special care or attention. I don’t have breed preferences—I love all dogs!
A typical day
I’m happy to walk and/or run your dog around your neighborhood if it’s well-suited to pedestrians. Otherwise, we can take trips to local parks and trails; I like Bryan Park and Griffy Lake best, and we can start going on the Rail Trail and Clear Creek Trail once all that construction is out of the way. Depending on your dog’s needs, we can walk, run, or hike to his/her content. I’m also happy to play with your dog and any of his/her favorite toys, at home or at a park.
