A Bit About Me: I grew up with a dog that had severe separation anxiety and raised a puppy while a full-time student with a part-time job, so I understand how hard it can be to leave your fur baby at home alone. I will be there with lots of love and enthusiasm to keep your dog entertained, socialized, and exercised. What to Expect: I think it is important that your dog gets lots of love while you are away, so you can expect more than just the occasional drop-in if I'm house sitting for you; we will go on walks, play with toys, and have lots of cuddles! If I'm walking or just dropping in on your dog, you can expect me to be fully committed to them and their needs, and come back to a tuckered out pet. Every owner trains their dog differently, so I will be happy to abide by the rules of your home and your reward/discipline practices with your pupper. Pet Experience: I know that each dog is unique, so don't be embarrassed about having specific requests or worry that needs won't be fulfilled. I have experience with giving medication, maintaining a proper diet, taking care of special needs dogs, and more--I will be sure to care for your pet as if they are my own! I also have experience training my own dog (a border collie mix), walking the dogs for a family I babysat for, volunteering at the local humane society, as well as assisting in training service dogs in my home town. I have been around all kinds of animals my entire life from dogs and cats to pigs and cows (which you can see a quick preview of in my photos), and don't believe there's such a thing as giving too much love to your pet. Availability: I work a part-time job, and will be starting school up again full time at the end of August. I have breaks during the weekday where I can check-in on your pup and let them out, but please note that I WILL NOT be able to be with them all day during the work week.
