Hi! My name is Natalia, I'm originally from the city of Philadelphia and moved down to Nashville back in September of 2021 for school/work. I'm currently employed full-time at Vanderbilt University and I'm also taking one night class towards a professional program I plan on completing in the future. Back home, I grew up in a house with a belgian malinois and a basset hound, so I have been a pet lover since I was very little. While I attended undergrad I also used to look after my close friends' pets from time to time - anywhere from weekends to full weeks at a time. My old roommate also used to have a beautiful Shih Tzu mix, but unfortunately with the move I no longer have a pet at home. Now that I am here in Nashville I am hoping to be able to help out a few folk that might need their little (or big) furry best friend taken care of as I live in a very pet-friendly apartment (have 2 dog parks in building). Some additional things about me: I'm an active runner and training triathlete. I love going on walks/runs around McCabe golf course, Centennial and Shelby park, so taking your pet with me would be a delight. On weekends I also like to plan short hike trip to nearby parks, so if your pet enjoys the outdoors I'm your gal. I look forward to meeting your lovely pet & promise to deliver 5 star service every time by adapting to every single one of your pet's needs, treating them as if they were my own, keeping them safe at all times. While boarding I will keep a close eye on your pet at all times during their stay at my home and follow all instructions that you provide me before you head out, just let me know. Also while you enjoy some time for yourself, you can have some peace of mind knowing that your pet will have some company and somebody to play with while you're gone (: I work full-time at Vanderbilt University as a researcher in the School of Medicine, my working hours are normally from 8:30am to 5pm. Whenever I am boarding dogs, I normally walk them in the morning before work for ~15mins, then because of my close proximity to work (only 10min commute) I come home for lunch to keep the doggo some company as well as provide them an additional potty break/walk if need be. After work, ~5pm, I come home and then go for a longer walk with them for about ~30min to an hour depending on the exercise/energy level of each individual dog. Then the rest of the evening is spent at home relaxing, playing, cuddling, and receiving endless belly rubs for being such good boys/girls. Right before going to sleep, we go outside for a short potty break. I normally let your pet sleep wherever they choose to, whether that is on their crate, bed, blanket in the living room or my bedroom (: Weekends are more flexible so I try to take them to the dog park whenever possible, if not we stay home for the most part, keeping your pet company at all times. My apartment has ample of space for your pet to roam around and find a spot to lay down & snooze. I allow all pets that I board to get on furniture and there is also enough space for a crate/bed if you would like to bring one with you for their stay.
