Lifelong Cat Lover & Carer
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a special connection with animals — especially cats. Growing up in Iran, it was very common to see stray cats walking around the streets and neighborhoods. While my sister was a bit frightened of them, I was the complete opposite. I spent a lot of my childhood caring for the stray cats that visited our parking area and garden — feeding them, playing with them, petting them, and making sure they felt safe and loved. One of the most memorable experiences I had was caring for a sweet stray mama cat while she gave birth to four adorable kittens. Being able to help and look after them was something truly special to me. My love for cats is also shared by my husband, who raised two beautiful cats back in Iran: Gerdoo and Sheida. Gerdoo was a mixed Himalayan/Persian cat who sadly passed away due to old age. Sheida, our funny and energetic ginger boy, is now happily living with my sister-in-law. And the story doesn’t end there — despite my sister’s fear of cats, I still managed to foster two lovely cats, Pishan and Nila, in our home. Caring for cats has always been a natural and joyful part of my life. I understand that every cat has its own personality, needs, and boundaries, and I always do my best to make them feel comfortable, calm, and cared for. For me, spending time with cats is not just a responsibility — it’s something that genuinely makes me happy.

I have never been this comfortable leaving my cat with someone, I honestly was so happy that my cat was safe and happy. I got lovely videos of her playing and being happy! Natasaran is really great!

I cannot recommend Nastaran highly enough! Finding someone you completely trust with your cat can be stressful, but from the moment she took over, I knew my cat was in the best possible hands. She is incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely loves cats. It is so clear that this not for a job. She truly enjoys being around them. My cat is normally very shy and uncomfortable around new people, but she must have sensed Nastaran’s warm and gentle energy. To my absolute amazement, she acted completely differently with Nastaran and was relaxed and comfortable from the very start! Nastaran was also incredibly flexible and accommodating. When our situation changed and we needed to adjust our initially agreed-upon visit times, she adjusted without hesitation to match our needs. I am so grateful to have found her. I will definitely be asking for her services again and again whenever I need a cat sitter. If you want peace of mind and a happy kitty, Nastaran is the absolute best!

Schedule
My days are usually calm, structured, and home-based, which makes it easy for me to give pets plenty of attention and company throughout the day. I work remotely as a business consultant from 8am to 5pm, and my husband — a postdoctoral researcher in applied mathematics at University of Groningen — also works mostly from home, only going to the office a few times a week. Because we spend most of our time at home, cats are rarely left alone for long periods and can enjoy a peaceful, relaxed environment with lots of care and companionship. Some evenings I go to the gym for about an hour, and honestly, one of my favorite parts of the walk is stopping to pet any cats I meet along the way!

Safety, trust & environment
Your cat’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my top priority. I am a very responsible and attentive person, and I understand how important it is to follow each cat’s individual needs and habits carefully. If your cat requires special care or medication, I will make sure everything is given properly and on time. I live in a quiet apartment with a balcony, but for safety reasons, I do not allow cats outside or onto the balcony unsupervised. I strongly believe indoor cats are safest indoors, and I always make sure the environment is secure, calm, and comfortable for them to relax and feel at home.
