This sitter was friendly, but we felt hustled. When we dropped our dog off, she agreed that a late afternoon/early evening pickup the next day would be fine. The next morning the sitter contacted us asking for a pickup time, and we said between 3-4 pm. She said we were making her miss a waterpark visit, and we needed to pay her an extra $10. Since we were two hours away and she had our dog, we were forced into agreeing. She said she would give our dog a bath, I guess to soften the blow, but none of this was agreed upon. When we arrived, she couldn't find our (expensive) leash but still insisted we hand her an extra $10 (she did not even bill this through rover.com, which is a requirement of the site). While they were searching for the leash, someone else in the household tried to sell us a bag of Rachel Ray dog food ("It's usually $30, but I'll give it to you for $15"). Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. She did find our leash later in the day and we had to go pick it up the next day. We felt scammed and very uncomfortable. Only positive was that our dog seemed happy to be around her. She did apologize for losing the leash.
