Pet care experience
I fostered a dog with my roommate last year who ended up getting adopted by her. He was a rescue, so I am familiar with emotionally sensitive dogs as well as training, teaching and loving them! I have also dog sat multiple dogs in the past few years ranging from young dogs to very old ones, so I understand their needs and routines.

Naomi was wonderful! She watched my two small dogs who were older and needed special attention. She made sure they received their daily medication. walked them, and gave them the love and care they needed. She was so good, when I picked them up, they felt as if it was their own home. Naomi is a very responsible, caring and loving friend. She helped me foster a puppy from Mid City Mutt Mamas last year and never stopped giving him love and cuddles (even after I fully adopted him myself). She is incredibly good with pets and loves them unconditionally. I told her multiple times that if anything were to happen to me, I’d leave tucker (the puppy we fostered together and that I adopted) with her. I know she paid attention to him during their time together, she knows his routine, his favorite toya, knows how to play with him and how to comfort him. She is the most responsible and organized young adult I know and I admire her for that. She is a great choice for a foster mom for a pet!!

I have a fenced in yard and as I previously mentioned, I wake up early so morning walks are not a problem. I am an active person, so I go for a walk every day and it would be nice to have a dog to accompany me! I do not have a dog, but I have 2, 12 year old cats.

No breed preference but I do love cuddly dogs! Please let me know of any behavioral components and any commands the dog knows! Also let me know if they get a lot with cats!!

Neighborhood walks, walks at the park, and at dog park (if the dog likes other dogs) and playing in the backyard and in the house.

Availability
I work in person during the week so I am only available during the weekends, this allows me to fully be invested in your pet’s happiness! I usually wake up early, so I will be very good about doing a morning walk. I already have a feeding routine for my cats in the mornings and nights.
