Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my life since I was 2. I started caring for dogs as a child with my first best friend, Lucky. Next came Jamie, then Junie, and finally Duke. I’ve watched friends pets when they went on vacation. They knew they could trust me to make sure their dogs were safe and well pampered.
Reviews
Naomi was a wonderful communicator who took great care of our Theo! We appreciated her keeping him company while we were away!

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
In your home, you can be sure your pet with feel comforted and cared for. I know strangers to pets can be anxiety provoking, so I approach new pets like I approach my human clients, with kindness and patience. I love to walk and just play fetch with my dog back home at my parents’ house. I would love to do the same with your dog. For your cat, plenty of snuggles and toys are important to keep us entertained.

Information Naomi J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any behaviors I should be mindful of, or if your pet takes time to warm up to new people. Please let me know if you would like your dog to be taken to places like Byrd park, Monroe park, etc.
A typical day
I believe walking and water and two of the best medicines (for dogs). We can check out the parks near me or stroll around campus, since I live near VCU. Or, if you would prefer we play in the backyard or walk around the neighborhood that works too. Pats and belly rubs are essential as well to having fun. New sights, new scents, and exercise.

Availability
I recently graduated from VCU with a masters in social work. I am looking to make some extra money part time this summer while I hunt for a full time job. I do have two roommates and one has a cat, so I would not be able to board until later this summer when I move into my own place. I do have a car with reliable transportation.
