Pet care experience
Thank you for checking out my profile! I frequently care for my family's medium sized dog (a cockapoo named Tuesley) on weekends, and I love the company and joy that comes from being around dogs. I am a full time social work graduate student, and have the summer available to help you with dog walking and any other needs your dog has. My roommate is sadly allergic to all dogs, but I am happy to provide additional care for your dog at your home. I live in West Medford, so this area would be preferable, but I am able to drive to the surrounding area as well. My professional experience is largely in the human services field, but I believe my enthusiasm, respect for others (humans or dogs!), patience, and work ethic will be reflected in my care for your dog(s). Naomi has taken care of my 2 year old Australian Shepherd (50 lbs) on several occasions, both for walking and pet-sitting at my home ever since my dog was a puppy. She is awesome with my dog, very caring, and 100% reliable. I love that she'll send me photos of my dog when I'm away too. I definitely feel like my dog is in great hands when Naomi takes care of her! I've taken my dog to overnight boarding places in the past and she would be very unsettled when I picked her up and for several days after, but when Naomi looks after her I can tell that she is much happier - it has made such a huge difference being able to travel and knowing my dog is in good hands!
Naomi is one hundred percent trustworthy and dependable. She is kind and loyal, and will give your pet all the love it would have had if you were there too. I have an eight year old cockapoo who can be high maintenance...she gets stressed out if we leave her, and you have to be careful with her when she's walking near other dogs because she's unpredictable. Whenever Naomi looks after her I never have to worry because Naomi gives her lots of affection and is great with her when she takes her for walks. When we go away I always ask Naomi to look after my dog and it's great to come home and find her calm and happy. I would definitely recommend Naomi!
