Pilsen | Pet Care for Dogs and Cats

Pet care experience

In my household as a younger child to my adolescent years I was the primary pet care taker of my home. I’ve taken care of and trained fostered cats and dogs. After leaving home I was no longer able to take on the responsibility of an animal and I’ve walked dogs for Wag in the side for extra cash and my own personal enjoyment. Due to Covid 19 I’m not longer at work and have a lot of time on hands. I can ensure quality care and I will always have an open line of communication with you. It is my sole promise and purpose to guarantee your satisfaction. I look forward to hearing from you. Please contact me with any questions! Kind regards, - Naomi Athena

We booked an overnight stay during NYE with Naomi for our dog. A few days prior to the stay, we discussed having a meet and greet for which I indicated wouldn’t be necessary unless there would be other dogs at her house (our dog is friendly but it’s always a good idea to have meet and greets with other dogs). When my wife and I went to drop Bailey off, Naomi looked uncomfortable with Bailey. As Naomi was bringing bailey into her home she said “oh there’s another dog in here.” This was the first we heard of another dog being in her home but since Bailey typically gets along with other dogs, we didn’t make a fuss. About an hour after we dropped bailey off, My wife texted Naomi asking how Bailey was doing. Naomi replied and all she said was “she calmed down a bit.” This text made us feel uneasy - as if Naomi wasn’t enjoying her time with our dog or that Bailey was too energetic for her. A little while later, Naomi texted my wife and told her that there was an “situation” with the other dog and that they had to be separated (apparently the other dog was trying to jump on Bailey and bailey didn’t like it.) We already felt uneasy leaving Bailey but learning about the situation with the other dog made us feel really uncomfortable to the point that we offered to just leave and come pick her up. Naomi indicated that she would be asleep by the time we would be able to get there. Perhaps this was all just a big misunderstanding but we didn’t feel at ease leaving our dog with Naomi and wouldn’t rebook in the future.

Naomi is a great caregiver and took care of my greyhound who has 3 legs, so he needed special attention which Naomi provided.

Naomi recently watched our dog Miso while we were out of town for a long weekend. Naomi is really sweet and I could tell she had a genuine love for animals. I feel completely comfortable leaving my Miso with her. She made sure to update us regularly with photos and videos on Misos stay. She has a fenced yard and a spare room just for miso to sleep and play. Next time were out of town I would definitely contact Naomi again to care for our pup.

I found Naomi on the Wag app, she regularly walked my puppy Simon. When I first adopted Simon, I didn't have any experience with animals. I was working from home the first time she walked him, she gave me a few suggestions on training him on a leash, I hired her to walk him 5 days a week. She's always on time and so gentle and patient with him, and goes the extra mile to ensure Simon was comfortable after she left on days I wasn't home. Two years later Simon is a miracle on a leash thanks to Naomi.
