I've had all kinds of pets throughout my life (dogs, cats, rodents, birds) -I can't remember a time in which I wasn't tending to an animal's needs as well as my own. I find caring for pets to be very rewarding. I love getting to treat an animal with love, care, and attention, because our pets give us nothing but love, and they deserve the same in return. I'm also very detail oriented and make sure to follow any specific instructions for anyone's pets. I have a 2 1/2 year old dog of my own named Turnip. She's very energetic and playful and she is a very happy dog.

Naomi is a wonderful pet sitter! We have entrusted the care of our pets (dogs, cat, birds, guinea pigs, chinchilla, fish, and lizards) to her over the past 3 years and have never been disappointed. Naomi always follows our care schedule and instructions and even sends us photos and updates of our pets to let us know they are well and in good hands. I highly recommend Naomi. She will love your pets as much as you do!
Naomi took care of my two cats for a few days and I can't recommend her enough. She was very attentive and sweet to both my pets. She was also nice enough to water my fussy calathea. It was a great experience and knowing that my cats were in good hands was a big relief.

I will care for pets in my client's home based on any given instruction by the pet owner and fitted to the pet's needs and well being. I will always respect my client's home and any rules they may have regarding it. As long as myself, the client, and the pet are all comfortable and safe.

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any special medication that is needed, I only feel comfortable administering medication when I am given explicit detail and instruction to guarantee their safety. Please also let me know anything specific about your pet's personality, such as if your pet is shy or plays rough -so that I can know what to expect and make the best of my time and care for them! :) Additionally any spots your pet likes to walk or play or really, what games/toys/activties they like -anything that would make caring for them comfortable and enjoyable for your pet.
A typical day
Depending on your pets personality and what they are comfortable with, I will engage with them and make sure they have good company while you are away. For more energetic dogs, I love playing fetch and tug-of-war, and for more relaxed pets I'll play with them in anyway they enjoy or simply give lots of petting and affection to. For walks or any outdoor activities, I will only take your pets to dog friendly and safe areas.

Availability
I'm currently a full-time sophomore in college (downtown Chicago area) interested in pet sitting to make some extra money. There are two days of the week (Wed and Thurs) which I have full days of classes; on these days I am available for overnight sitting if you are comfortable with me leaving in the morning (8AM) and returning in the evening (7PM), although on Wednesdays I am available to check back in with your pets between 12-3PM. I am fully available for overnight pet sitting Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. My availability for other pet care services is flexible all days of the week.
