Hello! I’ve helped friends and neighbors feed, walk, and pet sit animals of all kind. Dogs hold a special place in my heart and have experience watching all kinds: from the energetic pitbull puppies to older less social dogs.

Nansi was an amazing dog sitter who took great care of my big, goofy shepherd/Dane mix. I was nervous about leaving him because It was his first time being away from us for so long in a home not his own and I was going out of the country. Nansi provided lots of picture updates which cleared any fears. It felt so good to trust someone with my dog and to feel he’s 100% comfortable with them! Nansi followed my routine specifications perfectly and took my baby on lots of greats walks and adventures. Every picture that was sent showed my pup looking so happy or relaxed and content. Nancy is a warm, funny, thoughtful, attentive, flexible sitter! My dog has stranger danger and so she requires quite a bit of positive reinforcement, patience and enrichment in line with her trainer/behaviorist’s recommendations. Nancy was AWESOME attending to her needs — we had a great meet and greet where Nancy learned and implemented Naya’s trainer’s tips, and she gave Naya all the enthusiasm and treats she needs to be a happy girl. It’s hard to find sitters with her skill and attention to detail and willingness to follow such a detailed set of directions, so Naya and I are super lucky to get to work with her! Nansi was amazing with Clutch. She is caring and considerate. He came home a very happy pup!
Diesel had a great time with Nansi today. I would book with her again and do recommend her as a sitter. She was great with communicating and sent photos of the stay.

A typical day
As an active person your dog will have no shortage of things to do during their stay. We can play in the backyard, explore Oakland on the many walks I throughout the day (Lake Merritt or along the water in Jack London are my favorites!), then curl up on the couch and catch up on our favorite shows ☺️

I currently work from home and have a flexible weekday schedule so I can work with a variety of schedules. My weekends vary but I like to spend time outdoors whether it’s walking, hiking or just visiting the beach.
