I am a dog lover and animal advocate. I ONLY CARE FOR 1 DOG AT A TIME . I prefer at least 2 weeks notice for new dog sitting clients and I do need to meet and greet prior to accepting to make sure both myself and the dog are compatible. Once I care for your dog for the first time, I prefer at least a week notice. I believe in adopting a pet from the local no kill animal shelter, which is where I got my last dog and now I recused a cat from the shelter. I have had several large dogs in my life, a Samoyed, American Eskimo, and my last dog a Lab/Shepard mix whose name was Moose and have dog sat for friends. I just put my last dog down 4 years ago because of cancer. He was my child and friend. He helped me with his love in times that were tough and made me laugh and enjoy life. I believe animals have rights and need to be treated with respect, love, and loyalty. I will always make sure my dogs have food even if it means I don't have food for myself. I have a big fenced in yard so there is plenty of room to play and roam and a deck to just chill on. I love walking the dogs in my neighbor, weather permitting. I do have cats but I gate the living room area from the bedroom area so the cats has separation. I do need the dogs to be current with their vaccinations and have current license tags. They must have no fleas, ticks, etc. because I am allergic.. I always sleep on the couch for the first night so the dog can be comfortable and calm.
