Good company and the great outdoors
Pet care experience
*new owners message me for discount! 😊* Loved dogs since I could talk, owned my own at age 15, and have been walking dogs voluntarily ever since (13 years and counting). I am studying a diploma in Dog Behaviourism and have experience shadowing a dog training class this year - so have some formality behind this passion! Before I become fully qualified, I'm (more than) happy to keep your pets company and enriched with the great outdoors. I like to play and have a fair understanding of dog body language which helps me build a good relationship with the dogs I meet. Positive reinforcement is the gateway to good days!
Reviews
Thank you to Nancy who had the pleasure of house sitting Arnie and Pickle. It was very clear they were in good hands. Nancy was keen to meet the boys before her stay and kept me updated including a picture or two. I have no hesitation to use her services again. Much appreciated and Thanks again.
Nacho had a great day Nancy and was so relaxed around her from the start. Communication and regular updates throughout the day were lovely to receive too, and just gave us peace of mind that he was happy and content. Thanks again Nancy, Nacho can’t wait to have you back already!
Nancy is the BEST! From our initial meet & greet to the stay, Nancy kept us informed with updates & photos throughout the home stay with Rodney. We can’t thank her enough for putting our minds at rest with our first experience of home staying and leaving Rodney. She embraced his quirks and responded to all his care needs wonderfully. She took the time to really understand his needs and followed them to the letter. Rodney really has made a new friend ♡ Will certainly be rebooking with Nancy in the future! A massive 5 stars!
Nancy did a wonderful job looking after our 9 month old Digby for his first sitter experience, even when we wasn't feeling his best! She was so lovely to rely on and made sure Digs had a fantastic day (boat trip included!) We will be booking again in a heartbeat!

Information Nancy W. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know whuch commands you use, what your dog is allowed to do in the house, and if your dog can go off the lead (I used to own a type of hound, so I understand the anxiety of recall!), and how your dog gets on with others that we might meet on the walk. If like to know if there are any behaviours you'd not like me to encourage (jumping up etc) and if there are any trainings you'd like me to keep up with either at home or while out, I'm more than happy to practice! I'd also like to know your dogs favourite treat, toy, and place to be scratched. And literally anything else you know is important to share! All dogs are different and you know them best - I'd like to do whatever I can to make your dog happy and comfortable while they're not with you
A typical day
I like to start the day with a good stretch around a nearby green space, where your dog will have the opportunity to socialise with lots of other dogs before settling down at home on days I'm working from home. We'll go out at lunch and in the evening too, and play lots of games! On days I'm not working (Friday-Sunday), we will move further afield (provided you + your dog are happy with that!). We will explore Bristols countryside and take in the scents and smells of national parks and public pathways. We might even climb a Welsh mountain! (Always with your permission first).

Availability
I work from home 4 days a week, with flexible employers, and on the other 3 days I try to get out and explore as much of Bristol and the surrounding area as possible. I have my own car, but also plenty of green spaces near me within walking distance.
