Pet care experience
I grew up with adopted dogs from the AZ Humane Society. In college, I had two parakeets. I'm not currently a PAWrent, but would love the opportunity to support you and your pet. I'm an avid daily walker who likes to "stop and smell the roses". I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, however, I am only able to safety care for dogs that are 40 lbs. or less and are well behaved. I would not be able to lift or carry a larger dog who may become ill or injured. My AZ summer heat walking policy is as follows: Walks are done with a max outside temperature of 85 degrees provided there is ample shade and grass. I will only provide walks from 7 am to 11 am weather permitting. I can provide drop-in visits in leu of walks. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

I have a fenced backyard and access to ample outdoor green space in my community. My home has two levels, so I use an access gate to the stairs as well as stair treads. There is a second barrier next to the front door to prevent escapes. I have reliable transportation for peace of mind. I strive to keep a pet's routine the same in their home while their pawrent(s) are away. I like to send daily updates with pics. I treat my client's home with the upmost respect and care. I can also retrieve the mail and water plants.

Please let me know if your pet has special needs. For example, I have experience with deaf animals. I love giant dogs, however, I can only care give for well behaved giant dogs as I'm petite in stature. In addition, please have your pet profile completely filled out including at least one picture. This helps me get a feel for your pet. Extra treats for sufficient time given for requests. If your pet is leery around new people, then please seek socialization training with a professional. Rover does provide 1 on 1 virtual training. If your pet displays anxious behaviors(pinned back ears, big yawns, tucked tails, or is protective of their home, then Rover is not the place to seek pet care services.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog(s) physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the smells in the neighborhood and explore near by parks. Wait a meow-ment. Let's not forget cats! Wands and plush toys are just a few favs that make play time fun. I once had the pleasure of care sitting for a parrot who loved the sing. I can't carry a tune, but I'm up for a sing off anytime.

Availability
I grew up with adopted dogs from my local AZ Humane Society. In college, I was a proud bird parent. I'm currently working part-time from home as a online life coach and artist. I have no pets, so your pet(s) would have my full attention. I'm an early riser for the most part and start my day with a morning walk. As always, your pet comes first. I plan accordingly by limiting coaching appointments during a pet sitting job. I save my free time to do my art.
