Pet care experience
I've been a regular dog sitter (for all shapes, ages, and sized dogs) for fifteen years and have been blessed to have my dog, a seven year old, insanely loving golden retriever in my life for over six years! I believe that interaction, affection, and exercise are critical to a dog's well-being, and I would love the chance to make your doggy's day or night happy. As a marathon runner and general fitness enthusiast, I'm happy to take dogs on long walks, even exceeding the 30 minute expected walk, particularly if you own a sporting-breed dog that is happiest with more than two or three miles under his/her collar at the end of the day!

Nancy helped care for my 2 year old dog Crosley when I was working long hours at work. I wanted someone who would treat Crosley like their own. I was petrified of hiring someone who would run in, let her go out to potty, then leave. Having Nancy really eased that fear. Crosley took to Nancy immediately. Nancy would walk her, play fetch, and give belly rubs! I was very comfortable allowing her in my home while I was away and knew my dog was in caring, responsible hands. Overall I had a wonderful experience working with Nancy and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for dog care!

I am an all-breed lover and make no judgements based on a dog's breed, size, etc. That said, if your dog is staying with me, I would like to know that he/she generally likes other dogs. My dog, Elsie, is exceedingly friendly and submissive, so she certainly won't incite a fight! Moreover, I have a young daughter, so I'd hope your dog doesn't have a kid-aversion! She's low key and already an early canine lover.
A typical day
I'm happy to walk your dog in your own community, but I also love bringing dogs to Glenwood Gardens, Winton Woods, or Sharon Woods for walks. If your dog stays with me, he/she will get to see the great walks Wyoming, Ohio has to offer. I have routes of varying distances (with or without hills) planned in advance and am happy to share them with you or let you select the one you believe your dog will most enjoy!
