Pet care experience
I grew up in a state, WV, which according to my husband has more dogs per capita than any other state. The comfort of the dog always comes first. I carry on the tradition in NC. Every weekend we went to my Grandparents home and everyone arrived with dogs. There was usually 8 to 10 every weekend. I have lots of experience dealing with various dog personalities. In my home, it is all about dogs. It is the MOST dog friendly layout ever. If you love you pets and want them to have a good time as well, bring them to me.

Nancy was amazing!!! Our two dogs are our world so we choose very carefully who they stay with. One of our dogs is normally pretty skeptical of new people but he warmed up to Nancy, her pups & her home within minutes. I could tell by the pictures & videos that they were having a time at her house!

We couldn’t have been happier with our experience having Nancy keep our dog Franklin. Nancy’s home (and particularly her big backyard) made for a fun getaway for Franklin while we traveled. I have 2 friendly dogs that are use to being around other dogs. I have a large fenced yard, dog pond for swimming and a dog door that every dog that has ever come here learns quickly about the magic portal.

Information Nancy P. would like to know about your pet
I expect dogs to be house trained and properly vetted, including bordetella and flea prevention. Puppies and none house trained dogs need to be crated at night and when I go out. My home is pretty much dog proof. My yard is pretty much escape proof. Please let me know if your dog is a runner, digger or escape artist.
A typical day
At least one of my dogs sleeps with me. I like to get both in the bed in the morning for bonding. After breakfast, ball playing commences for Nelson and continues as long as I can take it. He would prefer 24 hours a day. Depending on the weather, a 2 mile walk around my beautiful neighborhood is on order for Olaf because he lives to go on walks. Nelson goes as well but he'd rather play ball. After the walk, it's pond time for Nelson. Olaf sits on the step. I have a large home and a large lot and no "people "/help. I am busy around here and spend most of my time at home and insuring the comfort and happiness of my best friends.

I work away from the home on Monday and Tuesday. Usually about 7 hours. I enjoy spending time in my park like yard with my 2 dogs everyday. Nelson is obsessed with balls and the pond. Olaf is lazy. My dogs have no problem with me being gone for work because I have a dog door they can freely use.
