Hi I’m Nancy! I’ve taken care of pets ever since my parents got us our first dog when I was 14. Since then, I’ve had a few pets of my own. Today, I own three wonderful and mischievous cats with my partner. Pets bring us so much joy but, I know they can also be a lot of work that’s why, I’m happy to help with any of your needs!

Nancy’s incredibly communicative and caring when dogsitting for our 2 small pups and my mom’s small Havanese. We felt our pups were in great hands and she was easy to work with when we had some last minute changes. One of our dogs is anxious and reactive - Nancy was thoughtful and patient in meeting him which we greatly appreciative. Will definitely hire her in the future.
Nancy was great- she took my dog on adventures, took great care of him, and left my apartment in incredible condition!
Nancy was so great! She helped me out with a last minute need and was so easy to talk to and work with. She kept me posted on my dog with photos and updates here and there and took good care of things while I was out of town. I would highly recommend Nancy for your pet care needs!

I currently have fenced backyard. Although my cats are primarily indoor, I do love to occasionally take them outside for a good supervised breathe of fresh air! To do this, especially with cats that can easily climb a fence, you have to be pretty attentive. I would treat your pets as well as I treat mine!

Typically- I like to know the personality of each pet just so I am aware of how to interact with them. Also, if they have medical conditions or take any sort of medicine. Anything that can be helpful to ensure they are getting proper treatment!
A typical day
Depending on whether I’m watching a cat or dog-I try to gauge their personality. Whether it’s a shy cat or an outgoing dog, I will adapt to them in order to make sure that each pet is getting the attention they deserve.

Availability
I work full time meaning that I’m usually not available until after 5:30. However, with that in mind, I’m happy to drop by for some walks or visits if you have evening plans or work alternative shifts. I also spend most weekends in Richmond so I’ve got you covered!
