Nancy was great with Cookie and Cookie had a great time. Highly recommended!!!

Nancy and I lived together in 2015. She and I have always talked about getting a dog until one day, she came home with a rescue, Harvey. He was extremely guarded, shy, would growl at everyone, and even try to bite anyone who got too close. He was clearly abused in his previous life and traumatised from it, but Nancy was dedicated to being the best owner she could be. Over the months that he lived with us (until Nancy moved), it was really hard for him to trust me or warm up to me, despite the fact that we lived under the same room. Harvey acknowledged Nancy as his rescuer but I could tell he still didn't fully trust her and was very confused about how he should interact with her. I saw Nancy and Harvey about 2 years later and he was changed. He still is guarded around strangers but he's calmed down a lot. He no longer threatens to bite. He listens to every word Nancy says. It's amazing the work she was able to do with him in those 2 years. I'm so impressed by her skills to turn this crazy dog around and now he's a calm, trained, house dog. I actually visited Nancy a week ago and was telling her how amazed I was at her ability to change this dog's life with such love and patience.
