I have never been without an animal in my life. I know the anxiety of leaving my babies and now as a retired teacher I can provide that same comfort to your baby if you need to leave them.

Nancy has provided excellent care for our dog Baxter on numerous occasions. She loves animals and treats our dog just like her own. Baxter is so excited when we drop him off to stay at Nancy's and she's just as excited to see him. Nancy is highly communicative, asking questions prior to our pet's visit to make sure he has all his needs met, and sends us updates and pictures of our dog while we are gone. We couldn't ask for a better person to care for our pet while we are gone!
Rocco was well taken care of and had a great time!
Nancy has cared for my Australian Shepherd on many occasions. Sometimes I drop him off, and sometimes she picks him up at my home. Either way, he is excited to see Nancy and her little dog Winston. In addition to caring for my dog, I have observed Nancy caring for other dogs, too. Some are big. Some are small. Some are enthusiastic youngsters, and some are grumpy old ladies or men. Nancy is skilled and loving with all of them. Nancy has the perfect home for hosting dogs. She has a beautiful acreage and a home perfectly set up to accommodate any dog. I highly recommend Nancy as someone who will treat your dog as her own.

Schedule
I am a retired teacher and live on an acreage. I am home most of the time and spend a lot of time outside. I do have cats that are good with dogs. I have a young energetic mutt mix that looks like a mix of Yorkshire and Rat Terrier.

I have 4 acres of invisible fence. I can train almost any dog to learn the boundaries. Or I can keep your dog on a leash when we go outside. We have no kids and have quite a relaxed home.

A typical day
I often have yard and garden work in the summer and spend most days outside. I go on long walks at Prairie Park in Rockford. My dog loves to play with other dogs large or small.
