I know how important & vital it is to find/provide care for our furry family members. Before having my human children, I had my furry babies; still do. The unconditional love & attention they provide me are a few reasons why I respect them so much. I will come to a HALT every time I see a pet roaming around lost in a neighborhood or street. There's been numerous times I've been late to work or my destination because I was frantically trying to rescue someone's pet from traffic & trying to locate their parents to claim them. Yes, I've brought them home as well until their parents called me back. I respect & love ALL breeds as each are unique, special and deserving of love and care from us humans. Nothing makes my heart smile when communities cater to and integrate our pets into our everyday lives whether it's at eateries, parks or retail facilities. I also understand the sensitive nature of caring for an aging or sick pet. The harrowing panic at the vet's or a 24 hr emergency animal hospital due to an insect bite or allergic reaction has been experienced personally. I also have had the experience of needing to administer medication to fussy pets. Overall, my experience & love for pets will put your mind at ease under my care. Professionally, I am a history teacher with a flexible summer schedule. I have 2 Malteses who are well-tempered and laid back. I moved here over 35 years ago from Hawaii and recently returned to Vegas from living in Southern California for the past 5 years. I enjoyed attending pet events & expos in California and looking to bringing that same interest/energy here in Las Vegas/Henderson. Currently, during the summer months, my schedule is very flexible according to availability. Once school starts, my availability will be narrowed down to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Again, please contact for availability. I have a large backyard, desert landscaping which is fenced in for security. I live in a small gated community in a cul-de-sac. The first floor is entirely tiled so no worries about accidents. I have several doggy beds & my 2 Maltese girls are laid back. (Mochi is 'Miss Nosey-pants' though). Taking them on walks within my gated community or even out of the gated community is easy, pleasant & safe. Many parks in Seven Hills to provide romping area for pets. I have a tween daughter & younger son who LOVE to interact with pets. My environment is safe for pets & humans as I DO NOT use chemicals in my home; plant-based products for cleaning.
