I own a house nestled in the canyons of Bel Air with a fenced in grassy yard. It is very private with beautiful views. If your dog likes squirrels and birds chirping, it will love it here. We have fun training Panda to jump the hurdle obstacle course set up in my yard and catch the frisbee or ball. We would love to have your dog do the same. If your dog just likes to relax that is good too. My dog loves to run and play with other dogs but does not like to play wrestle. Hopefully your dog is ok with that. She has an Instagram account named “ pandaplusfriends “ where can watch videos to get a better sense of her and our boarding style. Videos of other dogs we have boarded can be seen there as well. On outings we can have your dog wear a pet cam so can see video of her/his adventures.

Our two dogs (a mischievous hound and a big energy great dane) stayed with Marc/Nancy for a long weekend and I cannot recommend them enough! We got tons of photos and it was easy to see how much fun everyone was having. They have a super cool yard with some nice flat grass to run around in as well as some wooded areas that are great to explore, and a neat little creek that the dogs LOVED running through! It was clear from the moment we arrived that the dogs were the priority and would be thoroughly loved while we were gone. This was a great experience and I absolutely recommend booking Marc/Nancy for your dogs!
My dog had a great time with Nancy and Marc. She seemed to really enjoy running and playing with their dog. They took her to dog parks and hiking trails. I knew my dog was having fun while I was away. That was important to me. I would definitely have my dog stay with them again. They are very nice and caring and my dog was also very clean and happy when I reunited with her.
Having my dog stay with Nancy and Marc was totally worth it! They took her to hiking outings, played with her and treated her like their own. Nancy sent many photos so that I could see that my dog was having fun and made me feel better about leaving her. They have a large yard with grass which is not common among homes in this area. Since Marc worked from home I knew he would play with her throughout the day. He also seemed to be a very good trainer as he showed me new commands and tricks that my dog had learned. It was a great vacation with both physical and mental stimulation for my dog.
Can’t imagine anyone better than Nancy to watch your dog. She loves dogs and is a skilled dog trainer as well: very impressive to see the tricks her dog can do. Her home is perfectly set up for dogs as well with a spacious fenced in yard for dogs to play. There’s even a dog obstacle course for fun. Nancy is incredibly responsible (as you would expect from an experienced emergency room physician).

I have a fenced in grassy yard to which the dogs have free access to through the doggie door. There is also a fenced in steep hillside where dogs can get exercise retrieving balls and climbing. I play frisbee and ball with the dogs. If they can be trained to jump the hurdles and loop obstacles course that would be a great way to get exercise also. Sleeping can be anywhere : downstairs with access to doggie door. upstairs, or in bed with us. We will provide a tag for your dog with my phone number for him/her to wear while boarding. We also have them wear a gps collar so that they can be tracked and found quickly if ever they got lost. It has not ever happened but we keep one on Panda and have extra one for the guest dog and it gives us peace of mind. I have a dedicated outdoor dog bathing tub/shower that makes it easy to bathe your dog if needed. I have cameras throughout the yard and house to watch fun videos of them as well as for safety. As a physician I have some degree of comfort with medical issues. I send frequent updates and videos.

A typical day
I usually play ball or frisbee in the yard with the dogs. I take my dog on hikes to Canyonback trail and Solstice Canyon. I also take her to Holmby Park or Rancho Park which are people parks where there is a regular doggie gathering in the evenings. If your dog is up for some fun it can join us! Availability
I work half days four days a week but Marc is retired and home always so your dog will have someone to play with all day. I play with my dog early morning and late afternoon. They are free to play in the house or yard anytime. We usually take Panda on a hiking trail weekends. During the week playing in the yard chasing tennis balls, frisbee or walk in the neighborhood gets my dog exercise. We also enjoy doing training with Panda and do so with guest dogs as well.
